Junior Infants Celebrate Science Week!

Junior Infants had an exciting and busy Science Week full of fun discoveries. We kicked things off with the gummy bear experiment, where we learned all about absorption. The children watched in amazement as the gummy bears soaked up water and grew to almost double their original size!

We also explored colour mixing using paint and food colouring. The class loved predicting what new colours would appear and experimenting with different combinations to see the results.

To top it all off, we were invited to 3rd Class’s Science Fair. They were fantastic hosts, explaining their projects and showing Junior Infants lots of cool experiments. We were so lucky to be included, and the children learned so much.
