What a Fantastic First Month in Junior Infants!

September has been such a wonderful month for our new Junior Infants. They’ve settled in so well, and we are so proud of each and every one of them. It's hard to believe they’ve already completed a full month of school!

We’ve been very busy learning and exploring together. This month, we started working on some new sounds. We’ve learned /a/ and /s/, and the children have been doing an amazing job recognising and practicing them.

One of the highlights has been our literacy stations. The children loved getting hands-on with their learning, singing songs to help us remember our sounds, writing the letters, and exploring different ways to practise, like tracing in sand and forming letters with stickers.

It’s been incredible to see their enthusiasm and excitement for learning. We’re looking forward to another fun-filled month ahead!
