We celebrated our first Well Being Wednesday of the 2021/22 academic year on September 29th. The children always love this day. It's a day where there is a slower pace at school and the children get to take a breather. Their favourite part of course, NO HOMEWORK!
We engaged in some lovely activities throughout the day. The children's favourites were the meditation and the mindfulness colouring.
We Tried out Niall Breslin's new Mindful Moments for Children meditation. The episode we completed was called 'The Chill Skill', which helps children to calm themselves down when frustrated. We really enjoyed this episode and I was amazed at how well the children engaged!
