Under the Sea

We have been listening and responding to songs from Disney's Little Mermaid as part of our music learning. We really enjoyed the songs 'Under the Sea' and 'Part of your World.' Here we are designing our own Jellyfish as part of our 'Under the Sea' theme. We had great fun mixing colours. This is how our jellyfish turned out. We are very proud of our creations!

Engineers Week 2022

Engineers Week 2022 took place from Monday 7th - Friday 11 March . During this Engineers Week, lessons were taught to help children discover the exciting world of engineering. We were very lucky to get a visit from Donal, who spoke of his personal experiences as an engineer and invited the children to ask questions about his profession. The children loved his visit and we were very grateful to him for taking time out of his busy day. The children were assigned the task of building anything they wished with just one rule. It had to be made with recycled materials only!!! I was AMAZED at how creative and inventive they all were, I'm certain we have some future engineers in this room!

Lego Club

The children have enjoyed getting creative and hands on during Lego Club. The children created their own hospitals in Lego Club today. It was great to see their creativity and building skills once again. Each hospital that was built was very different. The children worked brilliantly together and enjoyed working in a new group.
